Prime Video has released the final trailer for its upcoming romantic comedy film You’re Cordially Invited which stars Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon. It looks like a funny flick filled with all kinds of wedding chaos.
In the film, the wedding date of June 1 becomes a major source of contention between Jim (Ferrell), father of a bride, and Margo Witherspoon), the sister of another bride.
The synopsis reads: “When two weddings are accidentally booked on the same day at the same venue, each bridal party is challenged with preserving their family’s special moment while making the most of the unanticipated tight quarters.
“In a hilarious battle of determination and grit, the father of the bride and sister of the other bride chaotically go head-to-head as they stop at nothing to uphold an unforgettable celebration for their loved ones.”
This is an R-rated comedy that was directed by Nick Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Neighbors) and it also stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Rory Scovel, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer, Fortune Feimster with Celia Weston.
Tatro plays the fiancé of Margo’s sister while Stony Blyden plays the fiancé of Jim’s daughter. Peyton Manning also makes a small cameo.
This looks like it could be a fun comedy and it’s set to be released on Prime Video on January 30, 2025.
