Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura are posing as DEA agents in the trailer for the upcoming series Dope Thief!
Coming to Apple TV+, the crime drama hails from acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott, who serves as executive producer and directs the first episode.

Here’s a synopsis: Based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name, the series follows long-time Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise, as they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard.
Also starring in the eight-episode series are Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen and Ving Rhames.
Dope Thief will premiere on with the first two episodes on Friday, March 14th, with new episodes weekly through April 25th, on Apple TV+.
