Billboard’s Women in Music event was held on March 29 in Inglewood, California, and the girls did not come to play. Some of the biggest names in music, fashion, and culture stepped out in head-turning looks, proving once again that Black women are the epitome of style and fashion.
From sheer dresses and trench coat styles to bold hues and iconic vintage pieces, this year’s “blue carpet“ was everything. And it makes sense because if there’s any place to flex, it’s at an event celebrating women!

Billboard 2025 Women in Music: Ari Lennox Stands On Business In Coperni
Ari Lennox gave us sophisticated power and playful edge in a Coperni hot pants bodysuit styled by NoIGJeremy. The khaki-toned piece featured a wrap belt and large lapels, exuding boss energy. Over top, she layered a matching trench coat, effortlessly blending classic tailoring with modern sex appeal.
She finished the look with sheer black tights, sleek black pumps, and silver accessories. Her sculpted legs were on full display and looked TF good! Ari styled her in a sleek style with soft waves. Her makeup was sculpted, glowy, and contoured.

Erykah Badu did what she does best—broke all the rules while looking effortless. She hit the blue carpet in an oversized Nike hoodie paired with a handkerchief-hem floral skirt in pops of blue, white, and red. The unexpected mix of sporty and feminine was a moment by itself, and then elevated with chunky Balenciaga boots.

It girl of the moment, Doechii, arrived in an all-black Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2014 gown. The throwback piece was everything—sexy, sheer, and seductive—highlighting her signature bold style.
