The internet’s lit up with what appears to be the leaked script for Marvel’s scrapped film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Before things shifted to Avengers: Doomsday, before Kang got sidelined, and before the Multiverse Saga hit its creative reboot, screenwriter Jeff Loveness had something ambitious in the works. Now, thanks to Reddit, we’ve got a look at what could have been.
To be clear, we can’t verify if this leak is 100% legit. AI and fanfiction are both getting really good these days. But what’s in there does track with everything we’ve heard behind the scenes, and it’s honestly kind of fascinating.
The script is allegedly a first draft and reads like a multiversal buffet. It includes:

The MCU debut of Miles Morales.

A reunion of the three Spider-Men from No Way Home.

Another Deadpool and Wolverine team-up.

A major role for Moon Knight.

Kang building his own Battleworld using the power of the Beyonders.

And an emotional subplot focused on Kang’s romance with Ravonna.
It takes some big swings as it features a story that was ready to fully embrace the chaos of the Multiverse. Not sure it would’ve worked, though, lots of cliche stuff. Makes me think AI could’ve written it, but it’s also got a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, which is common for scripts.
It’s no secret that Kevin Feige is a big Rick and Morty fan. That might explain why writers like Loveness and Michael Waldron were pulled into the MCU brain trust during the Multiverse era.
Loveness handled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and was supposed to follow up with Kang Dynasty. Waldron wrote Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness before being handed Avengers: Secret Wars.
But after those projects received mixed reactions, Marvel restructured its lineup, and Loveness and Waldron were both out. Stephen McFeely took over writing duties, and now the Russo Brothers are back to direct the next Avengers chapters.
The leaked script paints a version of Kang Dynasty that would’ve have been a turning point for the Multiverse Saga. But now, that version of the story is officially dead. Kang is no longer the center of Marvel’s big endgame. Instead, the focus is shifting to Doctor Doom.
The following notwe came with the leak: “This is the script that the content creators made videos about back in January and February. Someone shared it on one of the Marvel subreddits and I got a hold of it right before it was taken down. I CANNOT confirm its legitimacy.
“It would however require a TON OF WORK to pull off, as you have to know how to write professional scripts, write 160 pages long script, then actually PRINT IT and then make a SCAN of all 160 pages, which is a lot of work for 5 minutes of fame. It’s 50/50 for me, but I am more inclined to believe it.”
Avengers: Doomsday is set to drop in May 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars follows in May 2027.
