A rep for Tory Lanez has confirmed reports that the rapper was stabbed in prison.
On Monday (May 12), it was reported that the 32-year-old rapper was rushed to the hospital after he was stabbed during an alleged altercation with a fellow inmate in the prison yard at the California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi.
Hours later, Lanez‘s rep released a statement revealing that the rapper was 14 times and shared an update on his condition.
Keep reading to find out more…“Tory was stabbed 14 times – including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his rep,” read a statement posted on Lanez‘s Instagram account.
“Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus,” the statement continued. “He is now breathing on his own. Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through. He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support.”
If you were unaware, Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020. At the time of his sentencing, he refused to apologize to the 30-year-old “Savage” rapper.
