Flavor Flav brought the hype to the desert this weekend!
The hip-hop icon made not one, but two surprise appearances during Day 2 of 2025 Coachella on Saturday (April 12) — and the crowd couldn’t get enough.
The 65-year-old Public Enemy hype man first popped up during Blu DeTiger’s high-energy performance at the Do LaB stage, where he hyped up the crowd with his signature charisma and oversized clock chain. He even wore a shirt that read “Flavor Flav is here for the Bass Queen” in honor of Blu, who’s best known as a singer/songwriter and bass guitar virtuoso — and made history as the youngest and first woman to have a Fender signature bass guitar. The crowd went wild the second he hit the stage!
Shortly after, Flavor Flav pulled off another unexpected cameo — this time at the Yo Gabba Gabba! set inside the Mojave tent. Yes, that Yo Gabba Gabba — the beloved kids’ show that mixes music, dancing, and learning, hosted by the always-vibrant DJ Lance Rock.
The crossover we didn’t know we needed? Absolutely.
Coachella’s always full of surprises, but Flavor Flav turning up at both a funky bass queen’s set and a nostalgia-fueled kids’ show performance might just take the crown this year!
