Brian Littrell joined his son Baylee for a little duet on American Idol!
The 50-year-old Backstreet Boys singer’s 22-year-old son auditioned during the season 23 premiere on Sunday night (March 9).
After Baylee performed his own original song, “Waiting On Myself To Die,” he got praise from new judge and former Idol winner Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan asked if he could sing with his dad for them!

“You’re really good, like, really good,” Carrie said. “I loved the song, and that’s a risk too, when people come in singing their own songs. That was great, and you went there emotionally and I think you could go very, very far in this competition.”
“We’re super proud. He’s obviously grown up in the business,” Brian said outside the audition room, getting choked up. “You know, I think he’s cut out for it.”
Baylee, of course, got four yes votes to move on to the next round!
