Barry Keoghan looks chic while arriving on the blue carpet at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 32-year-old Oscar-nominated actor wore a look that exclusively created for him by Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele.
Barry‘s look features a “black wool jacket with rhinestones and silver canes embroidery on the collar and sleeves, along with “gold jewel buttons and gold V detail embroidered with matching thread.”
For his trousers, they are also black wool, and under the jacket is a shantoung silk baby blue shirt. He completed his look with “a red suede sash with fringes and Valentino Garavani accessories.”
The Met Gala will focus on menswear and suiting this year with a “Tailored for You” dress code. The event will celebrate the opening of the museum’s new exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller‘s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. There are six celebrities serving as co-chairs for the 2025 gala, plus 25 more stars who are part of the host committee.
