Jessica Simpson is back on the stage – and ready to get back into the dating world, too!
The 45-year-old singer was on the the Today show on Wednesday (July 23). On the show, she opened up about romance after her split from Eric Johnson and performed her new song “Fade.”
Jessica was spotted at soundcheck for the show wearing a sequined black cardigan over a summery floral dress. For her performance, Jessica kept her sparkle in a shimmering, fringe-covered jacket and pink corset top with matching pink skirt. After leaving Today, Jessica greeted fans outside of her New York City hotel in a bright maxi dress.
According to Jessica, it’s been “almost two years” since she and Eric separated and although she’s nervous to get back into the dating world, she’s ready to find love again.
When asked what she’s looking for in her next partner, Jessica said she doesn’t have a type, but that she wants someone confident without an ego. She went on to tell host Jenna Bush Hager, “I love love. And I’m very passionate. I have a lot to give. And a very good kisser, has to be a very good kisser. To me that’s the most intimate thing, grab my face and pull me in. Can you tell I need it?”
