As expected, DC Studios has released a new ollection of character posters that put the focus on the villains of James Gunn’s Superman.
The new posters features Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teshmacher, Anthony Carrigan as Metarmorpho, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.
Superman will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.
“He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
“It’s set in a world very different from ours and far removed from the DCEU. Heroes have been around for ages, and we’ll see how it affected this world’s history and has shaped the DCU.”
The movie also stars David Corenswet as Superman, Krypto, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific , and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. There’s also Rachel Brosnahan as Lois, Skyler Gisondo as Clark’s best pal, Jimmy Olsen; Wendell Pierce as The Daily Planet’s Perry White; and Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl.
The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025.
