Pamela Anderson did not land a Best Actress nomination at the 2025 Oscars. However, she isn’t overly bothered by the news.
The 57-year-old actress has generated a lot of awards buzz for her performance in The Last Showgirl. She’s picked up nominations at shows such as the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Award.
However, when the nominations were revealed for the Oscars on Thursday (January 23), her name was absent. She weighed in on the development in an interview.

“Oh my gosh, it’s not something I ever expected. Doing the work is the win,” Pamela told ELLE.com. “That’s what I like to do, and I think we can lose sight of that sometimes in this whole crazy awards season, but it’s nice to be recognized, and it’s all a bonus.”
She continued, saying, “I couldn’t imagine [it] anyway. I’m happy for the SAG nomination, that’s [voted on by] your peers. That’s really cool. This has been a long road promoting this film.”
