Predator: Badlands is coming!
The newest entry into the Predator franchise, starring Elle Fanning and directed by Dan Trachtenberg, premieres exclusively in theaters in 3D and IMAX on November 7.
Here’s a synopsis: “Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, Badlands follows a young Predator outcast (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) who finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) as he embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.”

Predator: Badlands currently has an 89% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Time Out gave it 4 out of 5, writing: “It cleverly pulls at the supposed laws of the series in a way that makes it more interesting without diluting the fearsome nature of the title character. Trachtenberg is making the franchise richer with every instalment.”
Perri Nemiroff gave it 4.5 out of 5, and says: “I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that we have a Predator film that’s essentially an alien and robot buddy movie. It’s so refreshing to see a film franchise dish out something so unexpected.”
AV Club gave it a C, writing: “The mystique of the Predator, what it was and where it came from, was best left to the imagination; the second you start pulling at that thread, the whole idea falls apart.”
Bloody Disgusting gave it a 3.5 out of 5, writing: “The Predator franchise takes a sharp detour into adventure, with its propulsive, creature-filled action matching the polarizing thrills of Yautja innovation.”
