Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
On Thursday (June 12), it was announced that the prequel series was picked up for a fifth season by Paramount+. The news comes around a month before the show will air its third season on July 17.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds tells the story of “Captain Christopher Pike leading the USS Enterprise before James T. Kirk took command. On the original series, Pike is introduced as a man who’s been horribly disfigured and paralyzed, and on ‘Strange New Worlds,’ Pike knows of his eventual tragic fate even as he forges ahead as the Enterprise’s captain.”
