The 21-year-old athlete is engaged to Tia Jones, who is a star in the track and field area of hurdling! She even made it to the U.S. Olympic trials in 2024, a huge feat after tearing her ACL in her knee last February.

They met when Xavier was playing football in Texas and she was in training in the area. He had actually DM’d her, but she didn’t think much of it. In a random chance encounter, they ran into each other at a restaurant in the area. She was having a horrible evening up until that point, and was running late.
Reflecting on it, she said on The Pregame Podcast in November, “That’s why God had me late to that dinner ‘cause I met my man.”
She was able to support him this year with the Chiefs due to her injury, saying, “God just aligned up everything the way it did. I’ve been able to be here, you know, taking care of my man…I’ve been able to be more hands-on with him and be with him throughout his rookie season.”
He proposed in July of 2024 and they shared the video on Instagram, writing, “The Worthy’s 💍.”
