Die Hard fans, get ready to jingle all the way. The Troubadour Theater Company is bringing back its explosive holiday parody Die Heart: The Director’s Cut, a musical comedy mash-up that blends the iconic Bruce Willis action classic with the music of Heart for a holiday spectacle unlike anything in Los Angeles.
The show features fresh songs, new jokes, previously deleted scenes rescued from the rehearsal room floor, and even live director’s commentary. The company promises big holiday fun as Hans Gruber and his crew square off against the iconic John McClane in a musical mash-up only the Troubies could create.
The limited engagement begins with a preview performance on Thursday, December 4 at 8pm and officially opens on Friday, December 5 at 8pm. The production will run through Sunday, December 21.
Matt Walker returns to lead the cast, which also includes Beth Kennedy, Rick Batalla, Mike Sulprizio, Clinton Roane, Chelle Denton, John Paul Batista, Trey McIntyre, Philip McNiven, Lara Lafferty, Benji Kaufman, Luis Martinez, and Sofia JoAnna.
